I remember seeing the advertisements in magazines in the late 40's. I remember the ad showed a beautiful girl dressed in short shorts gliding one over the lawn and there was a fellow on the other side of a fence fully exhausted pushing a push type reel mower asking,"How would you trade, cousin?" She replied,"Not for a dozen!"
I have only seen one and it was in an almost museum setting. I do not think they worked very well. Now a collector item
