Before I was drafted during the Korean War I was working at a Proving Ground working 7 days a week and sometimes 12 hours a day and on some occasions 16 hours. I was still helping my dad with morning milking as that milk had to cool and the milk truck picked up the milk around 7am. Later on I was drafted and I thought I was on vacation after basic training. Started the day around 7 and quit at 4:30. When I as discharged I was rehired back at the proving ground and when the nam war started we were working long hours 7 days a week.
