The Museum of Appalachia has one of my ancestors log cabins on display. The home of Nathaniel Peters. I visited the museum in the 1970s but haven't been back since. I didn't realize at the time that Nathaniel was in my line of ancestors.
I sure would like to come to the Fall Homecoming but Kansas will be having a sesquicentennial celebration in Wichita that weekend.
