We had two small tornadoes in three days. Pass four and five blocks north of here in May. Between Underwood and Port Elgin. I used to drive around the Goderich square on Halloween tossing firecrackers and eggs. Come to think of it my lawyer has his office on the square. We went to court in that very courthouse and beat the Ministry of Natural Resources. My Aunt and Uncle had the Esso oil franchise there through the 1960's to 1980's. Usually deal vehicles in Goderich too. Nice town and is also the county seat. Lost 500 jobs however when Champion Road Grader/Volvo pulled out a few years ago. The salt mines are the prime employer now besides the civil service. Lots of folk retired there too.
