: I am trying to find a hydraulic valve to mount on the back of my Ford jubilee for a 3 point log spliter.
: I just recently purchased the tractor and have been told that these valves were an afetr market purcahse and that they are no longer manufactured.
: I need to know what these valves are called and hopefully a few suggestion on were i may obtain one.
: Thank you.

About a year ago I bought a loader for my Jubilee, and needed the "Selec-Trol" valve to switch the hydraulics between the 3-point and the loader cylinders. I called many places, but found one at Nampa Tractor Salvage in Idaho. Phone number is 208-467-4430. Price was $85 plus shipping. A picture of this valve is at the back of the I & T Jubilee manual. The Jubilee is different that the 600 here, which is why these are scarce. The only trick is to position the 3-point to the middle before switching to remote, as this becomes your neutral point.

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p ... [Read Article]
