there was a previous thread about skunks, i posted with someone's response that my niece's boxer got skunked, well we gave her antibiotics and some pedialyte, three days she doing fine:;; the reason for story is that my niece called vet, vet says that different stuff could/would happen if we did what we did,,,b/s, vet would have done same thing and charged her a big bill for the same treatment, they just wanted niece to bring in dog... my Niece worked in a pet store years ago, but she was so terrified about ordeal, she forgot what to do at that moment, then realizing that a vet would have done the same thing, she was glad about what she did....man did the dogs breath smell for a few days....
