Tom in Tn.. From Jery in Tenn. Have 16 acres fescue ,clover mix here in front of the house. Been haying it for 6 years and broomsage was getting bad. Sprayed it last Aug 10th with roundup. Waited till late Sept took a slit seeder and applied , mix of fescu, clover & wheat.. All that 100 deg weather and dry got zilt nothing.. Went back this spring and got the true hardland drill and went back over it got a pretty good stand but still had to use a lot of seed. Mine is too hilly to plow up, have to use something like hard land or maybe your method. Let me know how it works out.
