I have been using the treated decking lumber for as long as it has been out. 30 plus years. It will last as long as you will ever need it. Just clean out the spreader when done is the biggest thing to making the wood last.
I used the old original wood ones for many years and never had one rot out. I always cleaned it out and several times each year I mopped the floor down with used oil mixed with diesel fuel. I had a New Holland last from new in 1971 to when I sold it in 1998. The floor was still good in it. It had set out half the time too.
