Yea, it will cook some but nearly enough. I leave this in the smoker covered for over 2 hours and the stuff melts in your mouth. I have undercooked it before and it's still good, but a bit hard. Also overcooked it one time, sort of like really tasty baby food! Tonight it was just right!
