I keep calling him a kid, but he's 31 years old. Went to school for ag mechanics, done his apprenticeship (2 years) in a ag/forestry equipment garage and is I guess what would be called a journeyman level (??). He is a 6 month class and a couple tests away from being a Master at the trade. Not too worried about him missing the head. He probably forgot more than a lot of folks know about fixing this stuff. I get a kick out of going to his place and seeing something scattered out in two rooms and not a book in sight. Ask him about it and most always get "I saw the book in school, don't need it now"....
One of them guys that if you ask him about a problem, he tells you the solution (or possible solutions) based on the problem and don't mention the make/model.
