we have 4 horses and never had problems with people feeding, but have had alot of people just stop on the front of the road by the barn and look at them, take pictures etc.. it does cause some concern when you are not sure what people are doing and you don't know them, but if there are neighbors it is a way to to keep people neighborly. i myself look at it in a way, that you never know when you may need a hand. hope this helps.
