irony--i just went thru this. head gasket/head on my 03,250 w/5.4,80,000 miles. i bought a jasper for 3,300. the shop said he's had good experience with jasper? the thing that tipped the scales for me was its 1,600 to pull/install the motor. so why fix something and have another problem later. i could be out 3,200 in a heartbeat. so i put the reman in w/3yr warranty.
