every 70,000 miles run a can of BG 44k through the system. Will work very well. Most of the time you can see the difference in 75 miles of driving. Now with computer controlled injection, the computer will try to compensate for dirty injectors and balance the engine in some cases so its harder to see the difference. On older diesel where there was "dumb" injection, a can of BG would show up quickly in faster starting, less cold smoking, smother idle and improved mpg. Now you just see better mpg. newer Ford diesels have to spin longer to start to set the computer parameters so they dont instantly start anyway.
