Remember, you are not going to be dealing with the trucking company, it will be with their insurance company. In my experience, neither the insurance companies or the small claim court judge recognizes sweat equity, and when they do it is at minium wage. I would pay some restoration guy I trusted to make it right then present that bill. I don't mean to upset anyone, but when you are after damages that someone caused you, the court/insurance company wants to hear from a "expert", not your opinion of the $ value those dammages were.
