I sold some Tuesday, 4 cows, 2 were 3-5 years old weighed around 1400 and brought 72 cents. Grossed a thousand and change. Other two were older, ten plus. Averaged 1300 and brought 69.50. Three pens of steers with them weighed in the 7's and brought 1.35. No complaints other than I didnt have more to sell at that price.
Nothing sold by the head that day. All these cows were bred, 3 of them 7-9 and they still went to the killers. Two were old and didnt raise good calves last year. The other two were a little too high strung for me. My legs arent good and messing around with wild and crazy cows just isnt smart any more if it ever was.
