OK this was an Ariens 931 series the PO took off the front end. Being as the Hydrostat pump has a shaft on either end, he pulled motor cut off hood assembly, and put the motor on backwards the original Idea was he made it into an articulating lawn roller You can see he also took the dash where the steering column was , and put it on the side. Then he fabricated the hood put a muffler on it off a Farmall Cub.
Only thing I would like to change is the steering Then I could add a TPH and use it to pull a garden plow for the garden tractor plow days
