Thanks again for the responses and encouragement. I believe I will set my first sights on a 1655 Diesel. Are all of the 1655's direct injection diesels? Did they use the same diesel motor all the way thru the 1655 production run? If you hear of any leads on a real nice original or a keen restoration please forward them as I would like my first Oliver to be something I would be very proud to own.
