Only real thing I hear about is sporadic electrical problems with the transmission. I know of people with 10K hours on 40 series tractors that use that basic transmission and no problems at all... TS is a good tractor. My TS90 has a mechanical 12x12 transmission. Shifting is not real great on that one because of the exposed linkages... and various cables need replacing from time to time but overall it's mostly fairly small problems. Other than one hydraulic pump under warranty it's had no major problems in ~3500 hours.
