I can't personally back the war in Iraq, however if nothing else it forced Al-Quaida to fight on two fronts. One in Iraq where we had a chance of winning,, and the other in Afghanistan where we have a limited chance of overall success. I must admit we have done better in Afghanistan than I would have guessed, but I think it will never be completely won over. Perhaps by luring some of the supporters to Iraq it has helped us there, but what do I know I'm just a dumb farm kid !lol
