That was good news, they are safe, not in trouble, and the families must be relieved. It is sorta obvious that things were not working out to well at home for these 2, and sometimes a change of scenery can do wonders. I wouldn't even try to talk them into comming home. Let them have their adventure. Who knows, maby they will find someplace that works for them, get jobs, make friends, get involved in a church and be on there way to a productive life. It happens. Everyone needs to leave home sometime. For all their faults, real or percieved, they sound like a couple of determined youngsters that don't give up easy. If they return home it probably will just be more of the same rebel behaviour. If they are on their own they might be a complete joy to be around in a few years.I would try not to be judgemental, keep the lines of communication open, and never send money.
