I lived here my whole life except 3 years in the army, and most of it was in Texas. My folks settle here pior to 1910. Work on several area ranches in my younger days. I retired from NRCS about 6 years ago, don't do much anymore found out 2.5 years ago I have MS. Danny Mcrae stills lives west of Vernon, went to school with him, he is retired also. I haven't seen him in agood while, I see his brother nearly every day, says he is doing ok.
