Thanks to all for info on my combine alt, battery problem. In analyzing your response I decided to take alt to town and have checked. Within 60 seconds he told me the alt. was bad. He sold me a new one for $105. made in China. I'm not saying that is good or bad, I'm just saying. He said make sure I have both batteries fully charged when putting on new alt. I followed his advice and just got it going. It works perfectly. Well gotta go. I'm going to try combining some wheat. I swathed it on Thursday. Should be good to go.
