Unloading a wagon load of hay by myself yesterday. Wagon sits outside beside the barn, and I throw 25 or so bales on the conveyor, then I have to go up in the mow and distribute them. Was easily 110 degrees there. Had to come down, rehydrate and cool down after every bunch of bales. Rain forecast, so I"m not going down to neighbors and bring another wagon up, don"t want to get caught. should be out binding the oats today, but don"t wnat to get caught with bundles of oats laying in the field.
Have lost a couple of our livestock (bunnies,) probably due to the heat and humidity. And they"re in a cooler barn basement.
