I've got something that is able to get the marshmallow bait, and trip the trap but does not get caught. It's happened twice now. The second time I baited the trap with a marshmallow spiked with fly bait.
I did see a big ol' groundhog running off the other day when I stepped out the backdoor. I'm thinkin' maybe that groundhog is too big to fit inside the trap. The door can't get all the way down, and the 'hog is able to just back out of it.
