Due to wet weather early, work schedule in June, and an injury, I"m way behind. Hay is thick and difficult to cut with a sickle bar mower. Lots of fine grass in the under layer, which clogs even the sharpest, best set up sickle. Yields probably higher than normal, if I can just get it in. Have a flail chopper with back end removed, may have to start using that to cut with - just shoots the product out the back. Unfortunately I loose a fair amount that way, but it sure makes nice soft hay!
