Yeah, I have Yahoo and I know some of the ads don't do anything unless your mouse floats over them(I'm careful to avoid that). But here latley a lot of them do their thing anyway as soon as the page comes up.
I know what you mean about the TV ads. One of the worst is Mattress King. This guy comes on dressed up like King Arthur and the first thing he does is taps his scepter on the screen. TINK TINK TINK! And he does it right off, so you don't even have time to hit the mute button!
