My 1999 chev Lumina transmission quit a week ago it would not go in any gear. Pull transmission out of the car found the pump shaft had sheared. They have some problems when they get a few miles on the transmission. I am not for sure a gran prex transmission will work some had no dip stick to check the oil with out jacking the car up and the transmission must be program to the car 1996 and up. not sure about 1995
