Crops about 5 miles around me look pretty good, tho we planted very late & so need some catching up, figuring on a late wet harvest - wet corn again. Bought a swather 16 miles from home, driving it at 8 mph yesterday I got to see a lot of corn up close - lot of it not tasseled yet. But still hoping for a average harvest locally. So I'm not complaining about me or my next door neighbors.
Between here & SD border tho, there are some terrible spots, moreso than not.
Saw 2 windmills on the Buffalo Ridge along 23 that only had 2 blades out of 3 - that wind storm was something fierce that was over there. Wonder where the 2 blades landed?
