Yes you will probably be better off buying a rebuilt ta. There are several places that you can buy remanufactured ta's. Case IH no longer carries complete ta and I would not suggest buying the parts to rebuilt it from them either it's to expensive. While you are replacing it I also recomend that you buy the lifetime ta it is built better and it will be the more expenxive ta. I think A and I, Hy Capacity, and I'm sure more places have the parts or complete units.
