Quality work at a fair price is the key. If your group is made up of union and non union and you didn't have any major problems on making the decision as who to hire, then it's really no one else's business. Some people are going to find something to complain about no matter what. You can't please everybody, so you have to please yourself first. I don't think it will matter that much in the long run if someone does boycott. There are enough people who love old machinery to support you anyway. Good luck on your venture.
