I lost those 2 calves that I posted about having 9 lives last week. Pretty sure the one had some internal injuries from the cows laying on her after they crowded up in the barn. The bull was a surprise though. I'd gotten him back in the barn in the shade by himself and he looked pretty perky. Skinny as a rail,but perky. Everything else seems to be doing alright so far. The ones on the north side of the road are spending a lot of time in the pond. The south herd could get in to a swamp if they had sense enough to go down the lane,but they seem to prefer bunching up in the barn or going way out to the west under some trees in the fencerow.
