Thanks for the info. I think I saw a suspension on this one... Didn't know what you meant by "hardtail" until you mentioned the suspension on the late models. I'll ask about it tomorrow when I'm back there to pick up the other stuff he's giving me. He told me several times that he doesn't want much (if anything) for this stuff - he just wants things to go to people who can and will use them - not just resell or scrap for a few bucks profit. I knew his Dad (WWII vet who I knew from church)- he kept stuff in good shape, so I'm almost betting the major problem with it is old/bad gas.
