After making a couple phone calls to friends in the immediate area. (one of which is a firefighter who responded to the initial call) I found out the cause of death was operator being ran over after he dismounted the tractor to move a tree limb. He had bypassed the key switch and had a spring loaded kill switch rigged in place. He apparently got off the tractor before it was completely shut down, and the engine never shut all the way off. When it re-fired, the tractor moved forward, running over the operator with the right rear wheel, then he was dragged under the still rotating bush hog, which caused massive trauma. The operators body was enough to bog down the tractor (which was running @ idle) killing the engine. A witness saw some of the event happening. There was no "roll over" involved. Neither friend could recall exactly what brand/model of tractor was involved, other than the fact it was GREEN......Hmmmm A green 8N?
