We did a similar trip a few years ago. I could've spent a day in the Badlands. Stopped at Rushmore and Crazy Horse. I agree, Crazy Horse is better. Rushmore seemed much larger when I was a kid. The Little Bighorn National Battlefield is one of my favorite places to visit. I could spend a week there just taking it all in--kind of like Gettysburg. The Indian Memorial is very impressive, but then I've always felt ashamed for the way they were treated. Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody was cool also.
