I resisted the change from XP to 7 until a few months back when I built a new quad core 3.2 gigahertz machine. Finally made the change to 7 and would not go back to XP. I did however lose the use of a scanner as there isn't any 7 driver for the scanner. Bought a 4 in 1 print, scan, copy, FAX machine that works with 7 so the scanner went to the trash.
