Crestor is for cholesterol .Stuff that suposelly clogs arteries.It is one of the satin drugs Lipitor is another.Both myself an my son had a very high count initially so need something to help lower it .However i think doctors are trying to make all of us have same count an ratio of high an low density cholesterol. Doctors office called today an wants to up the dose.I informed nurse i want nothing to do with Crestor .Will see doctor next week .Both of us were on Vitorin for couple of years with no problems but as in earlier post we both were changed.
