P & K take their time when surface applied. Perhaps half of those will be doing their work next year. Will take a month or more for them to show up on the plant.
N will make some green growth; most types need a rain to work in soon after application or some of it will escape to the air. 10 is a pretty low rate (when you say 10-20-30 was that at 100 lbs per acre then?), helps some, should see effcts in a couple weeks, probably be soning something in a week. Different formulations might need to go through changes in the soil to become an available type of N, could take more or less time.
