Yup, he's retired. Sittin' at the house in Dallas right now, but he's movin' to the farm permanently in the next couple of weeks.
Hay? We got 10 4x4 rounds off the coastal field so far. By now, we would normally would have over 40. Will get more if we get some rain.
Glad I kept what I hadn't used of last year's hay. With what was left over from last year, I've got almost enough to get through the winter, but it won't be enough if I have to start feeding hay now because of the drought.
Haven't gotten anything off the other fields yet. The spring was so dry, grass never got tall enough to cut and now its withering and turning brown.
