I'll have to try the pepper idea. Sadly I didn't plant any this year. I did find out yesterday there is at least one thing that chickens won't eat, or at least not very much of it. Okra. The oversize stuff that is, we eat the young tender pods but it had been about 3 days since I picked and had quite a bit of oversize pods. Also gave some to the goats, most just sniffed it and left it lay. Of course my goats are pretty spoiled. This litte guy was born yesterday morning, makes the 8th so far this year. .
