I own two. Two years ago my wife's car would show needing a charge on the dash idiot light every morning at start-up. If it was allowed to set for a few days it would need to be jumped to start. I was planning to trade it in so I put a de-sulphator on it for a few weeks as she drove it around. We decided to not trade it in.
As of now, the battery never needs a charge, never shows low battery on the dash light, and that was two years ago. The car is a 2005, and the battery is the original factory installed battery.
I move the de-sulphators around on my other vehicles and recreational toys to extend the life of their batteries. I believe in the de-sulphators.
