You have to think about those tractors being a narrow front instead of a wide front. Now with that picture a front mount cultivator or a mounted corn picker and think about how much room the tires have to be able to move around. The picker you even have to raise the snouts to even get enough tire clearance to turn around at the end of the row. Now do you understand why that small of a tire was put on. If you no not have any front mount equipment that would get in the way of turning then definatly a larger for more flotation and a wide front could use a lot bigger than a narrow front. For a narrow front I would probably go with a 7:50 X 16 3 rib as that is probably the biggest tire that will clear the frane and rollamatic. If it would ge a wide front then I would put on the size my 5000 Ford had that was a 7:50 X 18" 3 rib tire But remember those figures are for a narrow front tractor being used with that front mount cultivator or mounted corn picker and options were not included.
