Hi all, the motor went on my furnace which also runs the central air blower. Motor and blower, a squirrel cage is all one piece so I pulled it all out. Pulled the motor took it to a heating place and got a new motor and capacitor to match the motor. Have it all put back together but have one problem. I dont't know where the 2 brown wires go on the capacitor. The wiring diagram on the motor gives the specs for the capacitor but doesn't show how to hook it up. The old one had one brown wire with a white stripe and a brown wire. This motor just has the 2 brown wires. I am not sure if it makes no difference which of the 2 terminals on the capacitor or if it does make a difference. Heating place is closed so can't call them to ask and wife would like to get the cold air comming tonight lol. If anybody could help it would be appericated. 115 volt motor, 5mfd, 370volt capacitor, numbers match between motor and capacitor. thanks Terry
