Do you have to keep a SCV locked to supply the baler with hydraulics???? IF you do your baler maybe setup for a open center hydraulics. A Case 2590 has closed center hydraulics. There is usually a way to change the baler over.
I am not sure on the baler needs. I have never be around a CIH 8550 baler.
Post this over on the Case forum. I am not sure of how the PTO clutch is operated hydraulically. I have had hydraulic PTO clutches heat the hydraulic oil up when they had a high pressure leak in the engagement piston/housing.
