I've never seen a 450 or anything over a ton truck that would get 25 mpg. I believe the highest gears you can get factory in a 450 is 4:88 possibly a 4:56. Nothing higher though. I've had an 03 Dodge 3/4 ton manual 4wd taht would get 23 empty. My 97 that I have now gets 17-18 under normal driving conditions. If you keep it under 60 mph it will get 20 or a little better. It has 4:10 gears.
