just wasn't your time. Glad to hear you're ok. I think all of us who work around machinery of any kind have had one of those "whew, that was close" moments. Even if you're safety conscious, things happen quick and unexpected sometime and anyone who thinks they're safe because they're sitting up on a tractor and away from the implement has never had a close one like you just did. I tend to slow down when mowing near the edges of fields but even in the open, I've hit my share of rocks, cinder blocks, fence posts, old fencing, etc. that somehow wasn't there last time I mowed. :o
