Know any friends who live in a big city? Most big cities/counties have a program where you can haul all your household chemicals to a disposal site and they will take it for free. Here you must show a drivers license to verify that you are a resident of said municipality but it is rather painless. Things that can be reused - paint, thinners, chemicals, oils and lubricants, etc, etc are free for the taking. Hazardous items are disposed of according to law.
