Is there such a thing as 1 3/4" 6 spline? My CaseIH 7240 has a large, 1000 RPM shaft only. I think it's 20 spline? I have adaptors that I use on it to run a 540 RPM (1 3/8" 6 spline) bush hog. I say adaptors because the first one has a slight twist in it. Even at 11-1200 engine RPM apparently there's enough torque to do damage. When I went to get another adaptor I heard the same story twice- LAWSUIT- good luck getting an adaptor! So I ordered one from two different places. They both eventually showed up! With my drawbar lengthened WAY out it's just far enough with the added PTO length on there. Be careful!
