Thanks for the photos. That brought back some memories of my youth. I couldn't have been more than 8 years old or so, but I remember a limb looking just about like that one. My Dad was holding a long stick with a diesel-soaked towel wrapped around the end, He lit it up, harassed the bees and ran like he!! as a huge swarm followed. Meanwhile, Grandpa and I raced over there and started throwing all the comb into containers. I remember being so scared for my Dad, but as I recall he was the only participant who wasn't stung that day :)
