I've had good luck with the Autolite 3077 plugs and they're easy to clean if fouled. I just use a small tip in my torch & run as much oxygen as possible. Heat the carboned up insulator and it will be as clean and white as new. Once in a while they crack, but they aren't any good fouled anyhow. I have used this method for years, works for me.
