I planted over 100 bare root seedlings on my new place and I'm down to 75 trees. I lost some to drying out and some to just plain burning up. Now the grass hoppers are starting in on them. I've got my work cut out for me if I hope to at least keep half of these alive til fall. :(
I haven't seen a hay bale yet in my neck of the woods. It's going to get rough.
